The question being asked in my mind & the minds of many others is how Monday’s terror attack in Manchester affect the General Election campaign whenever election campaigning officially begins again.
I’d imagine the terrorist attack in Manchester will be used by Theresa May & the Tories to their advantage, whilst the Tory media will use the Manchester terror attack to increase their vicious hostility towards Jeremy Corbyn & Labour.
Pretty obvious to me that the Manchester terror attack could be to Theresa May what the Falklands War was to Margret Thatcher, thus likely be used as such, by the Tory propaganda machine & their allies in the mainstream media. Of course what the mainstream media aren’t going to do (but should be) is questioning how convenient the timing of the Manchester terror attack was for Theresa May & Tories.
Despite all the shit being flung at Jeremy Corbyn by Tories prior to the Manchester terror attack, Jeremy Corbyn by some margin was having a better election campaign then Theresa May, the momentum had definitely begun to swing behind Labour & Labour had started to surge, but post the Manchester terror attack it’s seemingly advantage Theresa May & the Tories, hence why the mainstream media should be doing their fucking job in looking deeper into the terror attack & not just be a parrot Toryish bollocks!
Supposedly yesterday campaigning in the General Election was suspended yesterday, though this didn’t seem to stop UKIP activists taking to social-media & using the terror attack in Manchester as political capital for their odious agenda of bigotry & hate. If there’s one party other than the Tories who might benefit from the terror attack in Manchester it will be UKIP, though ironically that might not be good for the Tories but in fact good for Labour as any extra votes from members of the electorate emotively duped by UKIP’s far-right agenda of bigotry & hate would split the vote on the right.
It’s not as if any Labour member want to be weak on those who commit terrorist atrocities, I think just about every Labour member or supporter will tell you any person involved in committing a terrorist atrocity should be behind bars having been prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but at the same time we need ask ourselves why these terrorist atrocities keep happening & maybe reaching the collusion these terrorist attacks keep happening due to us poking a hornets nest of strife in the Middle East because our dependence upon petroleum. Thing is you attempt to take any intelligent approach to discourse regards why terrorist atrocities are happening upon British soil with a connection to the Middle East & you’re doing so at the peril of the Tories, UKIP & the far-right depicting you as somehow weak on terrorism & whipping up the ill-educated folk into an emotive frenzy & unfortunately the Tories & the political right are very good at doing so which is why I say advantage to the Tories post the Manchester terror attack.
