It was kind of fun as the election results were coming & it became more & more evident that Jeremy Corbyn had confounded the critics, having to watch known Blairite politicians having to take back all the shit they’ve said about Jeremy Corbyn since he was elected Labour leader & having very much eat humble pie, the best of which was John Woodcock who regained his parliamentary seat in Cumbria being humbled by the Corbyn Factor having helped get him re-elected when only a few weeks ago he had been calling for Jeremy Corbyn to resign as Labour leader & other crap he had said he wouldn’t campaign with Corbynistas on side.
Even Alastair Campbell who’s been fiercely critical more then most Blairites of Jeremy Corbyn has applauded Jeremy Corbyn for strengthening Labour when it comes to the number of parliamentary seats it now has, but despite the successful GE2017 campaign Jeremy Corbyn & Labour have had & the resulting 30 something extra parliamentary seats Labour have won & having the best general election result since 2005, there’s still Blairite activists who will be arguing yes but, yes but, yes but, yes but, can’t bring themselves to applaud Corbyn or apologise to us Corbynistas for having been so fucking wrong!
The day before polling day, a Blairite activist said to me they reckoned there would be a swing towards the Tories, I kind of detected that it wasn’t so much they were predicting a swing towards the Tories but actually wanted there to be a swing towards the Tories so post-election they could have the excuse to yet again attempt to oust Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader.
There were activists from the right of the Labour party wishing defeat for Labour having articles being published in the likes of the Huffington Post & the Guardian & yet it’s me who’s being threatened with expulsion from Labour for questioning the Tories competence regards the London terror attack, yeah go figure.
Yes but Labour didn’t win, no shit Sherlock Labour didn’t win, but considering the disastrous result Labour had under the leadership of Ed Miliband back in 2015 did you honestly expect Labour to win, did you expect Labour to win with all the shit which the Tory establishment has chucked at Jeremy Corbyn, did you expect Labour to win when you Blairites have continuously tried to undermine Jeremy Corbyn & the Labour leadership!
Oh it must really stick in the throats of Blairites that the outcome of the general election just gone is that its truly cemented Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader & the left’s takeover of Labour, well if you’re so dissatisfied with Labour might I suggest rather than sticking around & trolling the Labour leadership that you go join the Liberal Democrats as they need all the help they can get as the great Liberal Democrat fightback once again failed to electorally materialise on Thursday.
I know some will accuse me with writing this of causing yet more division amongst the Labour ranks, but it’s not been me who’s been constantly sniping about the Labour leadership or plotting to oust Jeremy Corbyn, whereas Blairites have been doing so constantly & no doubt plan to continue to do so, my advice is jettison these fuckers as the left have now proven they’re no longer needed in winning votes.
Jeremy Corbyn has changed the direction of Labour for the better, Jeremy Corbyn & the left have changed the direction of Labour so either now get over it or get out!
