Yes I know it’s been almost a month since Chelsea Manning was released from incarceration having dared exposed the crimes of the Military Industrial Complex, however I’ve not had time until now to write any lengthy comment because of the general election here in Britain etc, anyways Chelsea Manning is still relevant, anybody who exposes the crimes of the Military Industrial Complex is always relevant.
Okay I feel the need to state that my support for Chelsea Manning has fuck all to do with being a trans woman, my name isn’t Paris Lees, I’m not going to be writing any article about Chelsea Manning which in fact is all about myself, there was no jumping on the ‘Free Chelsea’ bandwagon from me when she came out as trans which I saw from many fellow trans woman do, because I was supporting Manning way before I ever knew anything about them being trans, I was supporting them from the start for exposing a fucking war crime!
Obviously as a trans woman I do have empathy for Chelsea being trans, particularly considering the lack of treatment she had whilst wrongly incarcerated in a military prison to combat gender dysphoria, I know I’m not only one who thought this was a egregious violation of human rights, as in not having access to proper medical treatment etc, I mean if she had a kidney or heart disorder she’d of gotten access to medical treatment whilst in prison no questions asked, so why not treat her for gender dysphoria it’s a bonafide medically recognised disorder, but the point is like the US military shouldn’t of been in Iraq, Chelsea shouldn’t of been in prison period, she should have been given a fucking medal for courageously exposing wring doings!
What else do you call it when military goons shoot upon unarmed civilians other then a war crime!
Oh how dare Chelsea Manning try & expose wrong doings by the US military in Iraq, it’s just going to fuck up the public relations spin of the Military Industrial Complex about how the military was being as careful as it could to be humane & attempting to establish democracy & freedom in Iraq, when in fact the US military’s invasion & presence in Iraq was purely about pilfering Iraq of its vast oil reserves.
Anybody who seriously takes on the Military Industrial Complex & gives them a bloody nose is a hero to me, when I heard the news Chelsea Manning had been released from prison I literally cried tears of joy because the likes of myself & Angela Keaton & Peter Tatchell & many others who had relentlessly campaigned for her release & I myself never thought I’d ever see the day she was release, but it’s now time for Chelsea to tell her story & speak out & her voice is one of importance in the fight against the continuous war for profit of the Military Industrial Complex.
