So was it worth totally knackering myself by participating in in the Not One More Day demo yesterday in London?
Well if reports about senior Tories having a rethink about the freeze on public sector pay are to be believed, then I say it was totally worth me knackering myself yesterday protesting the lack of respect that there has been over the past 7 years from the Tories for public sector workers by freezing pay & cutting budgets etc.
I’m no fool & thus treasure that which helps keep peeps with disabilities such as myself alive, so will protest as loudly & fiercely as I can for public sector workers as they’re the ones who have helped keep me alive even when I’ve not wanted to be, in fact public sector workers keep millions of peeps alive in this country without those millions of peeps truly realising it.
I certainly wasn’t alone yesterday when it came to protesting loudly, thousands upon thousands marched through the streets of London in opposition to the Tories continuing program of austerity despite the fact that they’ve no mandate to do so & though they can find the magic money tree to buy the votes of the fascistic DUP, they couldn’t find the money magic tree to fit sprinklers in Grenfell Tower or to ensure grandma Nora has decent social care. Thousands upon thousands marched through the streets of London yesterday because thousands upon thousands care enough to protest the fact that austerity kills, but of course there had to be trolling cunts on social-media mocking peeps protesting the fact that Tory austerity is killing vulnerable peeps, hey fuck you if all you can do is mock peeps who actually care about those possibly less fortunate then themselves, if all you do is mock those who make an effort to take a stand because they care about humanity then really you are a worthless piece of shit & I hope you fucking choke!
Now its Sunday & I’m sure they’ll be alt-right fuckers who’ll take the Not One Day More banner literally because here we are the day after & we wake to still living under Tory rule & will no doubt try to rub some of our noses in that fact, not realising the point of the protest is that peeps with a social consciousness (something the alt-right wouldn’t know anything about) are prepared to work in resistance to Tory rule towards the day when there is no more Tory rule.
